A preservative-free powder that can instantly be made into an active, natural herbal gel to prepare the skin for deep pore cleansing.
Hydrates the skin prior to deep cleansing better than any steam procedure.
Especially suitable for people with ‘heat saturated skin or skin affected by couperose, seborrhoea, or acne.
The hydration process facilitates exfoliation by causing the dry keratin cells to swell and become easily detached without the need for excessive mechanical rubbing.
Plant extracts, such as Chamomile or Sage, can be added as a herbal infusion alternative to water.
Sprinkle a small amount (an eighth of a teaspoon) of the powder onto a small bowl with 1 fl. oz. (30ml) of purified water, herbal infusion, or boiled water that has been allowed to chill. Stir thoroughly to form a lump-free, fluid gel. The gel should NOT be too viscous as it will gradually thicken while standing. Soak a few non-woven fabric strips in the fluid gel and use them to create a hydration pack on the face. Leave the soaked strips on the skin for 15 minutes before starting the deep pore cleansing.
Remember that the gel does not contain preservatives so it should only be used on the same day it is prepared! Any remaining gel should be discarded.
